INCLUDES:
Intake and Assessment of ‘Suitability to Mediate’ Appointment is conducted separately for each party.
Please note: every person who is to attend mediation is a party and requires their own intake and assessment.
For example, if a new partner is agreed to be part of the mediation they are an additional party.
Where there are multiple parties (eg multiple grandparents, an aunt or uncle and / or parents) each person is counted as a party.
The information discussed at the intake and assessment is confidential and is booked for 60 minutes.
Anything discussed in this appointment is not shared with any other party without express permission.
Within this session the Mediator can provide you with any information you may need, discuss your options, as well as information on the mediation process.

PLEASE NOTE:
Certificates can only be issued after intake and assessment of suitability to mediate.
The purpose of the assessment is to determine whether the parties are likely to benefit from mediation and whether it is safe and appropriate for them to participate.
The decision to issue a Section 60i certificate and on what grounds is at the sole discretion of the Practitioner.
By law, a Section 60i Certificate can only be issued within 12 months of a mediation event.

INCLUDES:
Pre meditation phone call per party
4 hours joint session mediation
Section 60i Certificate – if requested / appropriate
For matters that require longer than the allocated 4 hours for joint session mediation, and where both parties agree to continue for additional hours, additional joint session time will be charged at $440 per hour and can be discussed with the FDRP at mediation and either be split per party or payment undertaken by a single party.

Child Focussed support / coaching can be incredibly valuable and offers you with child focussed insight into the negotiation process, provide feedback on potential solutions, and assist you to develop effective communication strategies.
