Intake Appointment & Assessment of Suitability to Mediate

$242/pp

$242 includes GST for each party

An Individual Intake and Assessment of ‘Suitability to Mediate’ Appointment is conducted separately for each party.

Please note: each person is a party and requires their own intake and assessment.

For example, if a new partner is agreed to be part of the mediation they are an additional party.

Where there are multiple parties (eg multiple grandparents, an aunt or uncle and / or parents) each person is counted as a party.

The information discussed at the intake and assessment is confidential and is booked for 60 minutes.

Anything discussed in this appointment is not shared with any other party without express permission.

Within this session the Mediator can provide you with any information you may need, discuss your options, as well as information on the mediation process.

Issuing of Section 60i Certificate

$110/pp

$110 includes GST for each party requesting a Section 60i Certificate.

A Section 60i Certificate can only be issued after intake and assessment of the parties’ suitability for mediation.

The purpose of the assessment is to determine whether the parties are likely to benefit from mediation and whether it is safe and appropriate for them to participate.

The decision to issue a Section 60i certificate and on what grounds is at the discretion of the Practitioner.

A Section 60i  Certificate can only be issued within 12 months of a mediation event.
